Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha was born on May 14, 1941. He was crowned king on May 14, 2002. He is the monarchical ruler of Onitsha, Anambra State. He is the Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University.
Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe CFR, mni (born 14 May 1941) is a traditional ruler and the 21st Obi of Onitsha, in Anambra State, South-Eastern Nigeria. He is chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University since 2015, and was earlier chancellor of Kogi State University.
