Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga Jr was born on April 29, 1953, in Ibadan, Nigeria. He studied Business Administration at the Northwestern Oklahoma State University and Pace University, New York. His telecom company Globacom grew rapidly and competed largely with MTN Group, the largest multinational telecom company in Nigeria. He was branded the African Entrepreneur of The Year at the maiden African Telecoms Awards (ATA) on August 15, 2007.

Mike Adenuga’s net worth
His enterprise, Globacom, is the second-largest telecom operator in Nigeria, with a large presence in Ghana and Benin republic. Forbes (2019) valued his net worth at $9.21 billion. With this net worth, Mike Adenuga also took the 2nd position in the list of Top 10 richest men in Africa last year (after Aliko Dangote).
To date, his net worth is estimated to be $5.9 billion ~ ₦2.3 trillion.

He owns an estate in Banana Island which he branded as the Gold digger’s den. The estate comprises nine (9) duplexes, a church, a mosque, two watchtowers, and a multipurpose hall that seats 200 people. His personal duplex has a home office, indoor swimming pool, car park, helipad, and a yacht deck that occupies about 3 hectares.

He recently acquired a burial tomb (Dysney vault) for N200 million at the upscale vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi. He drives an Audi A7, a Mercedes AMG G63 among other expensive cars.
