Vladimir Potanin is the richest man in Russia with a whopping net worth of $33.5 billion after benefiting from the historical privatization of Russian assets in 1995 under President Boris Yeltsin.
He owns the largest stake in Norilsk Nickel PJSC which is the world’s largest producer of high-grade nickel.
He also owns interests in insurance, media, agriculture, engineering, and oil.
