A person who was gunned down Tuesday evening in Newark was identified Friday as 29-year-old Boubacar Doukoure, investigators said.
Police responded to a reported shooting on the 100 block of Clinton Avenue at 5:29 p.m. and found Doukoure unresponsive in a parking lot, according to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office. Doukoure was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:02 p.m.
As of Friday afternoon, no arrests were made and no suspects were named.
